Michigan Foreclosure
Both judicial and non judicial Michigan foreclosures are available. Deed of trust and mortgages are the security documents here too as in Michigan. There is a 60 days timeline available and both right to redemption and deficiency judgment (varies) is available. Judicial foreclosure: Court orders defaulter to pay due amounts to lender within a specified time failing which notice of sale is issued. Power of sale covers the procedure for non judicial foreclosure. Incase it is unclear, Power of Sale Foreclosure Guidelines details out the same. A detail notice must be advertised for four weeks and posted on the property 15 days at least after the first appearance in news paper. Sale is by either trustee or Sheriff and can be postponed. If postponement is longer than a week publishing of it should be like the original notice.
